Actually that is the low poly model.
![]() I need to work on my speed, because this took me about 2-3 months. Then again, I have a bunch of shit going on so I can't commit full time to this. Modeling burns you out after staring at it for countless hours no matter how much you enjoy it, so I took some time off. Holy shit! Found one of my very first models lol. MAN I came a long way... ![]() |

Yeah, keep at it, Xuan. Keep challenging yourself to make stuff better, faster. You've got damn impressive stuff. I've had to do portfolio research for a project before, creating a list of potential contractors. Make a solid site that loads quickly and is easily navigable. And only put up the good stuff. If I wasn't able to find something impressive in about 10 seconds, I was on to the next portfolio.. |

Thanks, so much work and man hours are needed for the smallest item. And yes that is a Mario 64 head pez dispenser lol. I think the next thing for me to work on is organic modeling since sculpting out details is a bigger challenge.

Wow. I'm pretty impressed. More so with the texture and color of it, but that's nice!
What program do you use? In school we did some small time modeling and animation stuff in Cinema 4D. That was a grip ago though. |

Cinema 4D is still pretty popular. They have a great shader renderer along with maxwell. I use autodesk maya for the base mesh then do the high poly detail sculpt in zbrush. Texture work is done in ps of course. The renders are rendered in a game engine by Monkey Labs called the marmoset engine. I'm almost done with another handgun model, no textures, it'll probably be done this weekend. I'll post it when its done to give you an idea of the work progression.

Xuan i love the gun models, i like the slightly used touch it has on the guns, almost as if the paint is chipping off slightly on them
