I just tried playing it and its pretty laggy for me, probably not worth me even trying, I'll just end up shooting all of you deeeeeeeeeeeead. I never really play computer games so mines pretty cheap.

Medic and Tech are really fun. I think I like the support roles. You really feel the pressure as tech as you try to hack doors and your friends are dieing all around you. Medic heal packs almost seem essential (at least at our scrub levels right now).

I like the Special Weapons Character.

I imagine Alien Swarm should be played like Left For Dead.

Playing this game really makes me look forward to Diablo. How many people can play at the same time in that game?

I want to use Special Weapons or Officer in an actual game. Been using Medic the whole time--super fun, but I want to use someone else already

I ordered a video card for my comp for Starcraft 2, so I should be able to play this without lag when it comes, I would hope, haha.

What card

im really looking into upgrading instead of getting a brand new pc, since all id really care about is meeting or somewhat surpassing minimum requirements for SC2 and especially for D3, those 2 games would probably be the only 2 pc games i would absolutely have to play.

The stuff my pc lacks is as follows:

RAM
Minimum: 1 GB RAM (1.5 GB required for Windows Vista®/Windows® 7 users)
I Have: 958.5 MB

Video Card
Minimum: 128 MB PCIe NVIDIA® GeForce® 6600 GT or ATI Radeon® 9800 PRO video card or better
I Have: ATI RADEON XPRESS 200 Series (0x5954)

Once i get those, id be able to play it at minimum settings but id have to look into it to see if it would be a huge hindrance in actual gameplay.

@Phil: D2 was an 8 player game, im thinking it will be the same for D3 since its not an mmo.
